Message From the Founders

Angel Thompson

As a child of God, wife, mother, and psychotherapist I have learned the importance of Life Skills.  Life skills are among the many important things we all need to survive this crazy world.  Why not create a space for individuals to learn a new skill that may improve their life.  The beauty of life skills is they are transferable to others; once you learn you can teach others. This is why we created KWC.  A place to unite as a community and work together to improve our lives.   At KWC you can be a teacher and student; teaching others a skill you’ve mastered and learning from others who have mastered a skill you have yearned to learn.  It’s never too late to learn or give back! Join us in the fight to build a community with endless possibilities.

Althea Harris

Even as a little girl, I’ve always known that part of God’s purpose for my life was to serve others. In every area of my life, personal and professional, in some way I find myself striving to do just that.  What better way to continue to serve others, than to teach skills that can then be used to support the Kingdom of God? This is the motivation behind KWC.  We see KWC as an opportunity for individuals to learn but also teach in hopes to establish and entire community of people who will live to do Kingdom Works

Colossians 3:23-24
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ”. We shall operate with faithfulness, diligence, and joyfulness, as if Christ is our employer.
